
Nevena Šimšić
Nevena Šimšić graduated from primary and secondary music school in Belgrade. Due to her violin studies, she moved to Novi Sad in 2008, where she currently lives and works. She finished her master studies at the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad in the class of professor Evgenija Kravcev.
During her studies, she performed with Camerata Novi Sad orchestra and participated in numerous projects of international youth orchestras: Nabucco project with Neue Philharmonie Munich, Oberammergau/ Germany, (2015); Neue Philharmonie Munich Chamber Orchestra, Lake Como/Italy (2015); Neue Philharmonie Munich, Munich/ Germany (2015); Branimir Slokar Academy, Ljubljana/Slovenia, (2014-2015); Beutsch-Skandinavische Jugend – Philharmonie, Berlin/Germany, (2013); Cyprus Youth Symphony Orchestra, Larnaca/Cyprus, (2012); Deutsch-Skandinavische Jugend – Philharmonie, Berlin/Germany (2012); Cyprus Youth Symphony Orchestra, Larnaca/Cyprus (2011); Orchestra Academy in Hvar, Hvar/Croatia, (2009).
She played with Academia Ars Musicae orchestra (Austria), All Star orchestra (Slovenia) on a tour with Luka Šulić, Vojvodina Symphony Orchestra, Muzikon chamber orchestra, band (In)sane.
She is currently a member of Serbian National Theatre Opera orchestra and a regular member of the city chamber orchestra – Camerata Novi Sad.
