Aleksandra Lakatoš Dragutinović
She was born in 1994 in Belgrade, where she graduated from primary and secondary music school in the class of professor Lidija Dojčinović, at Stanković Music School. She received numerous awards during her early education, both in national and international competitions. She completed her university education in the class of professor Miroslav Pavlović, who was also her mentor during her master violin studies at the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad.
Her musical pursuit has been focused on playing in an orchestra ever since she was a student, and therefore she performed in numerous orchestras in recent years, such as Serbian National Theatre Opera orchestra, Vojvodina Symphony Orchestra, Belgrade Philharmonic, and others.
She is employed as a violin professor in Slavenski Music School in Novi Sad, and she is also a permanent member of Camerata Novi Sad orchestra and Robert Lakatos Chamber String Ensemble.
Her interests are not limited to music. She is widely interested in culture and media, mostly in digital marketing in which she has professional experience. She is currently a student of UNESCO’s Department for Cultural Policy and Management at the University of Lyon (France) and the University of Belgrade.
When she isn’t performing or at practice, she spends her time reading and playing with her daughter Helena.
